It has been reported that Will Young has quit Strictly due to personal reasons.
The singer song writer who rose to fame after winning Pop Idol in February 2002 despite having a verbal altercation with judge Simon Cowell.
On Saturday night Will danced a Bangla inspired Salsa choreographed by his Strictly professional partner Karen Clifton. Critiquing, Len Goodman questioned as to whether there was enough Salsa content to which Will disagreed stating there was plenty of traditional moves.
Any avid watcher of Strictly will know you do not confront the judging panel, a fact that seemed to bypass Young. Len whipped back telling him to "show up, keep up and shut up." Awkward!
Although Will Young cited personal reasons for leaving the show it hasn't stopped speculations about whether or not his run in with Len was part of the reason despite the fact Will apologised to Len and said he had the greatest respect for him.
The viewing public have call out for Tameka to be reinstated after she was voted off the show on Sunday night.
The bosses say there is no plan to call for any replacement and the show will go on as planned.
