Rylan Clark is bookies favourite for the X Factor 2012 2nd elimination with Rylan Clark odds of 3/1 but could he be saved again by an X Factor deadlock? Bookies are now offering deadlock odds for this weekends X Factor.
District 3 are most likely to be in the sing-off with Rylan closely followed by MK1. X Factor week two theme is said to be ‘Love and Heartbreak’ and while Rylan act in week one was cheesier than a dish full of gorgonzola, we do know from his X Factor boot camp performance that he can do a ballad very well. It’s all about getting him the right song to sing.
Most X Factor acts shouldn’t have a problem with the love and heartbreak theme this weekend but I do wonder what MK1 will sing. While Charlie has a lovely voice and Simeon is a great rapper it will be interesting to see if MK1’s Sim can find a tune inside him or whether the group will continue to go down the N-Dubz route.
The boy groups should floor this weeks theme with Louis Walsh at their helm. A classic ballad, some hefty knee dips, a bit of expressive hand movements and a key change while taking two steps forward should see them through to the following week.
This weekend it would be great if X Factor toned down the synth so we can actually hear the voices. Heavily synthed vocals may sound good in an arena but it does nothing for the viewer at home, or at least not in my home anyway. Acts who normally add loads of synth to their material are trying to cover up the fact that they are not great singers as in Cheryl Cole but we know that James Arthur has a great voice so why spoil it with loads of echo?
X Factor outright win odds show that Ella Henderson and Jahmene Douglas are still favourites for X Factor 2012 win. Ella Henderson odds stand at 5/6 and Jahmene Douglas odds at 11/2.
