According to the press angry fans of X Factor are threatening to boycott the show after Louis Walsh sent Carolynne Poole packing after he let his vote on Sunday night go to deadlock.
What are these people on? It wasn’t Louis who sent her home is was the voting public, the X Factor fans themselves. If Rylan Clark had got the least votes then he would have been eliminated surely?
It seems it’s not as cut and dry as that though. Apparently Louis was seen having a conversation with the boss Richard Holloway during the X Factor sing-off leading to an outburst of fixing allegations. Over 2500 complaints were received by ITV after the show and Twitter was buzzing with activity. As you would expect Holloway has denied allegations of any vote fixing.
It is my opinion that Carolynne probably did get the least votes, we are not a nation of country singing lovers. What was unjust about Louis’s pontificating was the lack of time given to Carolynne at her elimination.
Every single year we have some kind of controversy with the X Factor, it’s almost compulsory…written in to the script. This is probably just the first of the season with others to come in order to keep to words ‘X Factor’ on the front page of every tabloid and magazine.
