At the weekend millions of us tuned in to Britain's Got Talent 2017 on ITV and weren't disappointed. However many were disappointed at the word of 8year old comedian Ned Woodman.
Cute 8 year old Ned Woodman looked like an angle but had the skills of a seasoned comedian that knocked presenters Ant and Dec plus judges Amanda Holden, Aleshia Dickson, David Walliams and Simon Cowell off their feet. He likened Amanda to a dog, poked fun at Aleshia's dancing, called Simon a cross dresser and asked who out of Ant and Dec was the funny one.
While the audience laughed, many home viewers were appalled at the disrespectful 8 year old and took to Twitter to air their grievances.
Ned's father is allegedly a comic writer for the BBC giving rise to a comment from one person 'Imagine being that much of an unconfident p***k you have to use your little boy to tell your jokes.'
Others were concerned about the dog comment towards Holden saying it didn't bode well when people laughed at a young child who thought it was OK to reference a women to a dog.
Amanda Holden admitted having words with Ned's parents after it emerged his Dad had written the 'dog' punchline. Amanda told the Sun 'I have got a sense of humour, but I think he should temper his act to his age.'
An act like this was always going to split the audience and I doubt Mr Cowell will batter an eyelid after all, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
