Pop week came and went and for the best part the performances were exciting. Charlene Tilton found herself eliminated from Dancing on Ice 2012 after being in the skate-off with Sam Nixon. The 53 year old actress was gracious in defeat claiming she had the time of her life and praised everybody involved for their hard work.
So Sam Nixon survives to take on another week of skating but is he likely to be safe this Sunday? Not according to Dancing on Ice odds. It appears Sam could be in the skate-off again accompanied by Rosemary Conley.
I find it hard to understand why Rosemary is still in the Dancing on Ice competition. Yes she is graceful but as far as I’m aware, she hasn’t even attempted to make one unaided step on the ice yet. I do admire that she is giving it a go however, I feel bored watching her now.
Although Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden continue to be at the top of the leaders board and favourites to win Dancing on Ice 2012, Sebastian Foucan could take this competition by storm. He has improved his skating greatly and now looks like he is part of a pair rather than a solo ice skater. Couple this with Sebastian’s lack of fear and he could well be the Dancing on Ice 2012 winner.
Although very improved, Andy Whyment still struggles to look like a skater. It’s not his actual skating that lets him down, more his lack of finesse. Look at Andy’s skating feet and he is quite impressive, look at Andy as a skating whole and he appears to be cartoon like, hence the comedic routines.
Chemmy Alcott once again stormed on to the ice last Sunday and managed a lift that sadly went very wrong previously. Chemmy is a very competitive women due to her professional skiing background and is determined to work hard and keep herself in the competition which is all to her credit.
Dancing on Ice 6th Elimination odds predict Rosemary Conley will leave the competition this weekend however, Rosemary seems to have a loyal fan base that keep her out of the Dancing on Ice skate-off on a regular basis. Rosemary Conley odds stand at 4/6 while Sam Nixon odds are a little longer at 3/1. Beyond that, Heidi Range odds and Andy Whyment odds show they are next in line for elimination but will Rosemary’s fans once again force Heidi or Andy in to the ominous skate-off?
Watch Dancing on Ice 2012 on Sunday 12th February on ITV to find out who is eliminated next.
