Nicolas Almagro looks to end the year in style

of Spain will be aiming to make a great run at the end of the season and perhaps earn himself some big wins on the tour.

The Spaniard earlier this year reached the semi finals of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Madrid where he lost in 3 tight sets to his compatriot and the eventual champion Rafael Nadal.

Almagro also went on to reach the quarter final of the French Open in Paris but once again he lost this time in straight sets to Nadal.

Nadal is now the world number 1 and this year he won the French Open for the 5^th time in his career when he beat Robin Soderling of Sweden in straight sets in the final 6-4 6-4 6-4.

The Spaniard has since gone on to win a 2^nd Wimbledon title and a few weeks ago he added a 1^st US Open title to his growing collection of major titles.
