Juan Monaco hopes to keep run going in Shanghai

of Argentina will be aiming to keep his superb run going at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Shanghai China.

The Argentine yesterday secured a superb straight sets win over the Frenchman Florent Serra, last year Monaco earned the best win over his career against the world number 4 Andy Murray at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Rome in 3 sets in the 2^nd round.

Rafael Nadal is now the world number 1 and the Spaniard had won the French Open in Paris in the summer for the 5^th time in his career and he backed that up a few weeks later by winning a 2^nd Wimbledon title.

A few weeks ago Nadal then won a 1^st US Open title when he beat Novak Djokovic in the final in 4 sets 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-2.

The result gave Nadal the career Grand Slam he now has 9 major title to his name.
