Jelena Jankovic looks to breka major duck

of Serbia will be aiming to win a 1st major title in 2011 and finally fulfil her undoubted potential.

In 2007 the Serb did win the Wimbledon mixed doubles title with the home favourite Jamie Murray but she is yet to win a major singles title.

In 2008 Jankovic did however reach the number 1 world ranking and she also reached the US Open final that year but lost in straight sets to the then world number 1 Serena Williams.

Serena is still the world number 1 and this year she won a 5th Australian Open title in Melbourne when she beat the former world number 1 Justin Henin of Belgium in 3 tight sets.

Serena went on to win Wimbledon this summer for the 4th time in her career, a freak injury however forced her to withdraw from the US Open in Flushing Meadows New York where she is a 3 time former champion.
