David Ferrer continues good form in Shanghai

of Spain will be aiming to build on his superb form and he did a great job today as he sealed a place in the 3^rd round of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Shanghai China.

The Spaniard last week reached the final of the ATP 500 event in Beijing China but lost in straight sets to the world number 2 Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

On his way to the final Ferrer had beaten the world number 5 Robin Soderling of Sweden in 3 tight sets and Soderling will be the next opponent for Ferrer in Shanghai.

Another Spaniard Rafael Nadal is now the world number 1 and Nadal this year has already won the French Open for a 5^th time, a 2^nd Wimbledon title and a 1^st US Open title.

Nadal’s US Open title at Flushing Meadows New York last month saw him complete the career Grand Slam.
