Mardy Fish of the USA is set for a very tough 1st round match at the ATP
Masters 1000 event in Miami tonight, the American will take on Leonardo Mayer
Mayer beat Fish easily at the ATP 500 event in Memphis last month, 6-4 6-0.
Both men suffered 1st round exits at the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells last week, Mayer was beaten by compatriot Brian Dabul, while Fish lost in 3 sets to the world number 2 Novak Djokovic.
Fish has reached 2 Masters 1000 finals in his career, in Cincinnati in 2003 where he lost to fellow American and good friend Andy Roddick in 3 sets, and at Indian Wells in 2008 when he lost a tight match to Djokovic.
Andy Murray is the defending champion in Miami last year the Scot won the title when he beat Djokovic in straight sets in the final 6-1 7-5.
