England enjoyed an astonishing morning on the 2nd day of the 3rd Test Match at Edgbaston as the home side took control of the encounter.
Day 1 had been truncated due to rain around Birmingham however in the 2 hours of play that were possible Australia managed to put themselves in a good position as they reached 126-1 at the close of play.
However Australia made the worst possible start to day 2 when Graham Onions removed Shane Watson and Michael Hussey from the 1st two balls of the day.
Australia never recovered from this early set back and James Anderson returned to pick up the wickets of Marcus North and Mitchell Johnson in consecutive balls and having been in a position of strength, Australia found themselves reeling at 203-8 at lunch.
England are 1-0 up in the series, the hosts managed to upset the Cricket Odds
to win the 2nd Test Match at Lord's by 115 runs.
